Intensive In-Home Counselor

A Bachelor’s Degree preferably in social work, psychology, counseling, or other human services field and 1 year of experience working with similar programs targeting the mental health population and/or a bachelor’s degree in a non-related field and/or four years experience working directly with individuals with mental illness or mental retardation. Strong writing and case conceptualization skills and reference to a methodological base for developing individual and family treatment and interventions is required. Must possess a valid Virginia’s Driver’s license.

Group Home Counselor

A minimum of a high school diploma, or its equivalent, with some college level education preferred. Experience or study in the field of human services or the behavioral sciences or experience working with a relevant population. Must have demonstrated through previous life and work experiences, an ability to maintain a stable environment and to provide guidance to children in the targeted age range. Must possess a valid Virginia’s Driver’s license.
